Serious Impact leadership programme facilitator

Allia Ltd is looking for a company or individual consultant to develop and deliver a leadership programme for 12-18 highly ambitious start up entrepreneurs. The programme would be for 1 half day per month for 6 months. The contract would be for an initial 6-month pilot and then, if successful, to deliver a further 2 to 3 programmes across 2017-18.

The first cohort is to commence in April 2017 and the facilitator must be available for all sessions. Finalised dates will be agreed once the contract has been awarded.

The successful contractor should have significant experience of the following:

  • Supporting start up entrepreneurs
  • Working with different nationalities
  • Workshop facilitation
  • Personal and group coaching
  • Leadership development
  • Creating and delivering engaging curriculum
  • Creative leadership tools and techniques

The leadership programme curriculum is to include the following:

  • Passion, purpose and mind set
  • Effective communication
  • Personal resilience
  • Techniques for creative thinking
  • Managing dynamic teams
  • Innovation leadership and management
  • Decision making

It is expected that the successful contractor will provide input into the content and design of the leadership programme.

Serious Impact ‘Community Transformation’ programme facilitator

Allia Ltd is looking for a company or individual consultant to develop and deliver a design thinking based community transformation programme for individuals wanting to solve local problems through the creation of sustainable impact ventures.

The programme has three elements:

4 Day Design Thinking Bootcamp – June 2017

A four-day intensive hands-on design thinking workshop centred on a real-world innovation challenge provided by a local community organisation.

The design thinking boot camp will provide a mix of instruction, demonstrations, and guided, hands-on teamwork. The boot-camp will also include one evening event.

The facilitator will guide delegates through various design thinking tools and processes to include:

  1. Empathy and experimentation
  2. Interviewing and observing customers in the field
  3. Inspiration and ideation
  4. Creating user-centred prototypes
  5. Creative story telling

A one day ‘Introduction to Design Thinking’ workshop – September 2017 (and possibly monthly thereafter)

A one day workshop to include:

  1. An introduction to design thinking ,
  2. Insight gathering
  3. Empathy and experimentation
  4. Interviewing and observing customers in the field
  5. Using ‘Lego’ as a tool to journey through the problem as understood, problem as explored and problem as defined stages

 

30 Day community Challenge – September 2017

The full 4 day design thinking community challenge boot camp run over 30 days. Commencing with the one day workshop and then 5 facilitated weekly 2 ½ hour workshops.

The curriculum is likely to include but not limited to the following elements:

  • Design thinking
  • Idea development
  • Rapid prototyping
  • Creative leadership tools and techniques
  • Creative story telling
  • Leadership development

 

Dates will be finalised once the contract has been awarded.
